Dear Friends,
On October 7, 2000 this ministry took possession of a high hill here in New Hampshire. Shortly thereafter we moved the entire ministry here. This mountaintop had been used for perhaps a couple of centuries as a place of ocultic worship.
When we moved here the occult members were not happy. They tore down the cross we had placed there and constantly set up their unholy altars. On the other hand we kept tearing their altars, etc. down and kept throwing the rocks down the side of the hill. Over time, we took this “high place” back and we have had no sign of the occult for over two years now.
We have continued praying there and many of you, who have visited, have had some very significant experiences on top of the Pinnacle. We sense God wants to do more to address prayer and increase the measure of His presence on this mountaintop and return it to its original purpose. We have already been given new insights on prayer and we believe that as we give attention to the Pinnacle, more will come.
We have not been idle on the Pinnacle; we have been hard at work. Even with the limited funds we have had, in the past five years we have spent over $350,000 forging roads and paths, moving rocks and boulders, cutting down trees, clearing away brush, cutting down limbs, building flower beds, and planting thousands of flower bulbs. The budget for two men and the necessary equipment is $98,000 a year.
The original vision the Lord gave me back in 1980, for a Shiloh like place of prayer, was of a mountaintop, garden prayer and training center, a place of prayer where the supernatural could flourish and be taught as well as experienced. We now have training centers around the US and are being pressed by the Lord to get the Prayer Center going. However, we now realize it is too large of a project for us to do alone. We have to have your help!
In a time when the number of national intercessory prayer leaders is diminishing, we need to step up and boldly pray. There needs to be a Prayer Center geographically based in New England. I believe this will compliment the other prayer centers based across the nation and beyond. However, I know of no prayer centers based on the top of a mountain, or a high place. May this be the first of many prayer centers that take back the high places for God’s Glory.
We want the Pinnacle to become a place of prayer and personal regeneration. We need to cut in prayer trails and develop the Visitor’s Center. We also need funds to build the prayer and fasting cabins for those who desire longer and more intimate times with God.
I believe these items will form a base of operations that is clean from demonic entanglement. When we moved here, the Lord, in a dream to one of our staff members, gave a Biblical passage to us as a promise of what would happen on the Pinnacle. I would like for you to read the more literal translation of those verses below.
“And in this high hill Yahweh, the self-Existent, Eternal one will make for all the congregated units a feast with crushed oil for anointing, a hedge of spiritual protection, of fat things to make smooth our path, and wipe away our pain, a well-refined, pure, purged, spiritual protection. 7 And He will destroy on this high hill the mouth of the veil spoken and so cast over all the congregated units and the molten, libation that is spread over all the gentiles. 8 He will swallow up death forever, and Adonay Yahweh, the sovereign, ruling creator will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For Yahweh, the self-existent, eternal one has spoken 9 And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is Elohym, our glorious, incomparable, all powerful God who is the only one worthy of worship; We have bound ourselves together to tarry and wait for Him, and He will save us. This is Yahweh, the self-existent, eternal one; yes, we have bound ourselves together to tarry and wait for Him; We will violently & emotionally spin around and rejoice, cheer up and brighten up in His salvation.” 10 For on this high hill the power and direction of Yahweh, the self-existent, eternal one will settle down & stay.” Isaiah 25:6-10
You will notice some differences immediately in this translation and yours. As I wrote, it is a more literal translation. Two passages need to be brought to your attention. The word “waited” in verse 9 literally means to bind or twist together, and the words “be glad” literally mean to violently and emotionally spin around.
Will you twist yourself together with us for the sake of the Pinnacle Prayer Mountain? We need your support!
Prayerfully yours,
John Paul Jackson
